List of Upcoming Family-Friendly Events and Festivals (April – June 2023)

Spring’s here, and summer is soon approaching. All it means is that warmer, longer days are not far away! After the last few months of dark winter, it is now time to bring out your shorts, bucket hats, sandals, and all your bright and flowy outfits!

Here at Roy’s Boys, we have just launched our Bluey children's daywear range, and what better way to celebrate it than with a list of outdoor events?

We have put together a list of upcoming children’s events and family-friendly festivals that you can enjoy as a family. Wear your best spring and summer outfit and get your little ones to flaunt their favourite characters in our new Bluey daywear!

APRIL 

Raver Tots!

April - September| Various locations across the UK

Organised by Raver Tots, they are one of the UK’s biggest family-friendly rave and festival brands where kids and grownups can hit the dance floor and rave together! There are never-ending moments to engage kids and parents, and above all, huge dance spaces where you can hear the nation’s biggest DJs playing the best in all forms of dance music.
 

Funtopia

April - September | Various locations across mid UK

Funtopia is The Big Day Out for Little Kids! A fun-filled festival specifically designed for under 10-year-olds filled with high-energy inflatables, role-play areas, activity zones, family games, stage shows, and more! The event offers a very reasonably priced day out for all the family, with all of the activities and games included in the entry price!
 

Camp Severn

28 April – 1 May | Shrewsbury

Three days filled with fun activities for kids, including camping, live music, interactive performances, dress-ups, inflatable zones, and much more!
 

MAY

Elderflower Fields Festival

26 – 29 May | Ashdown Forest, Sussex

Elderflower Fields is a small and friendly festival, designed especially for families with younger children. Activities include tree climbing, den building, and archery. Additionally, with multiple performers and a spa for adults, parents too can have fun unwinding.
 

JUNE

The Big Retreat Festival

1-4 June | Pembrokeshire, Wales

Four uplifting, unforgettable days to relax, reflect, and reboot! Fill your day with the buzz of live music, yoga and wild swimming, foraging, cooking demos, and gin workshops. Wychwood festival

2-4 June | Cheltenham Racecourse

The Wychwood Festival has gone BIG! a three-day fest boasting incredible artists and activities for the whole family. Also, free tickets for kids under 10 and so much more!
 

Isle of Wight Festival

15 – 18 June | Seaclose Park, Newport

Hop onto the island this June, where you can start your summer in true Isle of Wight festival style. You're guaranteed there will be a bit of something for everyone with music spanning the generations, all your favourite areas on site, the family-friendly kidzone and the best atmosphere around.

Summary Party

17 – 18 June | Longleat Grounds and Gardens

Don’t be afraid to get stuck in all day with a very special vintage fairground, interactive cookery experiences, and not forgetting the wildest part of it all, their renowned safari and attractions!
 

Alderfest

30 June – 1 July | Alderford Lake, Whitchurch

Make a weekend of it! Alderfest offers limited wild camping pitches and an incredible line-up for both Friday Night Dance Anthems and Saturday's family festival. Additionally, as you enjoy your music festival, kids can enjoy some circus workshops, wall-climbing activities, and so much more!
